Position Title: Tender Manager – Government & Public Sector Role Overview The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process for government and public sector projects. This includes identifying opportunities, preparing bids, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, and coordinating with internal teams to secure successful contract awards. The role demands strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills to maximize success in competitive bidding environments. Key Responsibilities Tender Identification & Analysis Monitor government portals (e.g., GeM) and other procurement platforms for new tender opportunities. Analyze eligibility criteria, scope of work, and feasibility of participation. Bid Preparation & Submission Prepare technical and financial bid documents in compliance with tender requirements. Coordinate with internal departments (sales, legal, finance, technical) for necessary documentation. Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids on e-procurement platforms. Compliance & Documentation Maintain vendor registrations, certifications, and ensure compliance with government procurement norms. Update and renew expiring documents like EMDs and authorizations. [linkedin.com] Negotiation & Coordination Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors. Liaise with government departments for clarifications and post-submission queries. Reporting & Analysis Maintain records of all tender documentation and correspondence. Prepare MIS reports on tender performance and success rates. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tender management, preferably in government/public sector projects. Strong understanding of government procurement processes and compliance requirements. Skills & Competencies Technical Skills: Proficiency in GeM portal and e-procurement platforms, MS Office Suite. Core Skills: Project management, negotiation, analytical thinking, risk management. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and ability to work under pressure. Preferred Background Experience with public sector tenders and familiarity with terms like L1, EMD, BG, RA (Reverse Auction). Certifications in procurement or contract management are an added advantage. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Benefits: Leave encashment Work Location: In person
