Job Title: Recruitment ManagerLocation: VFM Honda Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Head / General Manager Job Role Summary:As a Recruitment Manager at VFM Honda, you are responsible for managing the entire recruitment life cycle—from identifying manpower needs to onboarding new hires—across all dealership locations. Your primary focus is to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates who align with the company’s culture, values, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities:1. Manpower Planning & CoordinationWork closely with department heads and location managers to identify current and future hiring needs. Prepare and maintain manpower planning reports and recruitment trackers. Ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies to avoid operational disruptions. 2. End-to-End RecruitmentDevelop job descriptions and post job openings on appropriate platforms (portals, social media, internal referrals, etc.). Source candidates through multiple channels including job portals, employee referrals, campus recruitment, walk-ins, and consultancies. Screen, shortlist, and schedule interviews in coordination with department heads. Conduct preliminary HR interviews and negotiate salary expectations when required. Ensure timely feedback and communication with candidates. 3. Onboarding & InductionCoordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including document verification, joining formalities, and induction programs. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure smooth integration into the team. 4. Recruitment Process OptimizationCreate and implement standardized recruitment processes across all locations. Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness. Maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles and ensure bench strength. 5. Employer Branding & Candidate ExperiencePromote VFM Honda as an employer of choice by enhancing candidate experience. Represent the company in job fairs, career events, and campus drives. Ensure timely and professional communication with all candidates throughout the recruitment process. 6. Team Management & ReportingSupervise recruitment coordinators and ensure task delegation as needed. Prepare weekly/monthly hiring reports and share updates with management. Coordinate with the newly appointed Recruitment Lead/Manager when in place and ensure smooth reporting and support. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong interpersonal and communication skills In-depth understanding of recruitment best practices Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment software/tools Good decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
