What You ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Recruitment to lead and manage the talent acquisition function for our IT staffing firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, overseeing end-to-end hiring processes, managing a high-performing recruitment team, and ensuring the successful placement of top-tier IT talent.
This role requires deep understanding of the IT services landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in delivering recruitment solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute scalable recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals and expectations.
- Align recruitment planning with market trends and future workforce requirements.
- Participate in senior leadership meetings to provide insights and recommendations on talent acquisition initiatives.
Team Management
- Build and lead a high-performing recruitment team including recruiters, and coordinators.
- Drive recruiter performance through regular goal setting, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the recruitment team.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring consistent and quality delivery of staffing services.
- Collaborate with the business development and delivery teams to respond to staffing proposals.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction levels and address any concerns proactively.
Process Optimization
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recruitment workflows across verticals (contract, permanent, project-based).
- Continuously evaluate recruitment tools and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, data privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
Sourcing Strategy
- Develop innovative sourcing channels, including passive candidate engagement, social media recruiting, employee referral programs, and talent communities.
- Establish and maintain talent pipelines for high-demand IT skillsets to ensure timely fulfilment of client requirements.
- Collaborate with marketing to enhance employer branding and candidate engagement strategies.
Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures to ensure candidate submissions meet client expectations in terms of skill, experience, and cultural fit.
- Monitor offer-to-joining ratios and reduce dropouts through candidate engagement and pre-joining follow-ups.
- Ensure high levels of candidate and client satisfaction through structured feedback and service improvement process
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and team productivity.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards for internal leadership and clients, providing actionable insights.
- Use data to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities within the recruitment lifecycle.
Technology Integration
- Drive adoption of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) within the recruitment function.
- Evaluate and implement AI-based sourcing tools, assessment platforms, and automation solutions to improve turnaround time and quality.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps within the recruitment team and organize training programs to address them.
- Conduct onboarding, mentoring, and continuous professional development for new recruiters and team members.
- Promote knowledge sharing of IT roles, technologies, and hiring best practices across the team.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and market data to support business development and workforce planning.
What you Know:
- Prior experience working with global clients or managing offshore recruitment teams.
- Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with recruitment metrics.
- 12+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role within an IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT technologies, roles, and recruitment dynamics in the IT industry.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate recruitment teams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale hiring and key client accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics
Education:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
