Quality Lead

We are seeking a skilled and client-facing Quality Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive functional and automated testing for SaaS Cloud Native applications on the AWS platform, ensuring high-quality delivery for complex insurance solutions. You will work closely with clients to translate business requirements into robust test strategies, scripts, and automation frameworks.

Lead quality assurance efforts on n-tier Cloud Native applications hosted on AWS.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed functional and automated test cases across UI, APIs, reports, batches, and data import/export components.
- Engage directly with Canadian insurance clients, translating complex business needs into clear test specifications and automation scripts.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive the adoption of automation using tools like Robot Framework and Selenium WebDriver.
- Create thorough documentation for test specs, scripts, and client communications.
- Prepare detailed test reports and contribute to quality KPIs and productivity tracking.
- Log, manage, and track defects using JIRA.
- Apply exploratory testing techniques and Agile principles to enhance product quality.
- Evaluate application performance using tools such as JMeter.

10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2–3 years leading customer-facing quality initiatives for Cloud Native applications on AWS.
- Have led a team of at least 10+ resources and working in onsite offshore model.
- Deep understanding of Canadian insurance concepts, processes, and terminology.
- Proven experience engaging with clients to capture requirements, feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Expertise in functional, automation, and exploratory testing practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver, JIRA, and JMeter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Knowledge of industry-standard KPIs and metrics to measure quality and productivity.
