Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and assurance processes in line with aerospace standards (AS9100, IPC-A-610/620, FAA/EASA regulations).

• Conduct inspections of materials, components, and final products to ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

• Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) for nonconformities and deviations.

• Work closely with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.

• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and audit findings.

• Prepare and support internal and external audits by customers, certification bodies, and regulatory agencies.

• Coordinate and perform the calibration of all equipment and tools with industry compliance standard.

• Ensure proper use and calibration of inspection tools, gauges, and CMM equipment.

• Prepare quality documentation such as FAI (First Article Inspection) reports, PPAP, and control plans.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, zero defect plan, mistake proofing, proactive quality and other quality methodologies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).

• 5 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within the aerospace or high-reliable mechanical industry.

• exposure to metallic and hydraulic aerospace parts manufacturing or Assembly (machining, casting, forging, special processes, assembly).

• Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001, EASA/FAA, NABL).

• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), engineering drawings, and specifications.

• Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies.

• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP (SAP)and quality management systems (QMS) tools.

• Certification in ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or similar is an advantage
