Job Description

The Role

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the implementation and sustainment of our Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS) across the geographical area of responsibility. This role, based in Vadodara West, Gujarat, has authority over processes affecting service quality and provides leadership for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's OEPS and business excellence programs. You will promote service quality, lead root cause analysis investigations, and ensure auditing of management systems to guarantee uniformity and effectiveness across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Manufacturing OEPS/API/ISO management system implementation and compliance across all locations within the geozone.
  • Establish and execute regular audit programs across locations including conducting audits and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
  • Monitor manufacturing locations' risk management procedures and support high-risk change management for processes affecting product or service quality.
  • Ensure supplier quality management protocols are in place including timely critical supplier quality audits and incident reporting compliance.
  • Consolidate, evaluate, and process service quality statistical information for rollup into Regional/Corporate QHSE Department in accurate and timely fashion.
  • Monitor QHSE statistical data for negative trends and report to relevant stakeholders while ensuring data quality in Weatherford Performance Tracking System.
  • Interface with Service Delivery personnel on service quality issues regarding products, services, processes, procedures, and OEPS compliance.
  • Lead and assist in root cause analysis investigations with operations managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review client bids and tenders providing input on service quality requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction focus is maintained.
  • Maintain highest standards of corporate governance ensuring all activities comply with HSE policies, Management System, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in quality assurance role with ISO/API management systems experience required.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Incident Investigation Training required.
  • Knowledge of Weatherford products, services, enterprise systems, and budgetary processes.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills with ability to manage multiple projects and work self-directed.
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQA; CMQ/OE) and industry certifications (CQM, CQE, CRE, Lean, ISO) highly advantageous.
