Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of software products. This role involves both manual and automation testing, requiring strong analytical skills, excellent documentation practices, and hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Strategy

• Collaborate with QA Manager and development teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Create comprehensive test plans and define testing strategies.
• Prioritize and scope test cases based on risk and impact.

Test Execution

• Perform manual and automated test execution.
• Log and report defects clearly and systematically.
• Validate bug fixes and track resolution.

Regression Testing

• Maintain and run regression test suites.
• Ensure new changes do not impact existing functionalities.

Documentation

• Maintain test plans, test cases, test results, and execution reports.
• Document testing processes and outcomes.

Automation

• Collaborate with the automation team to identify test cases suitable for automation.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).

Continuous Improvement

• Suggest enhancements in QA processes.
• Keep up-to-date with latest QA methodologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in software testing (manual and automation).
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Excel, Selenium, Playwright.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, and defect documentation skills.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Proficiency in defect root cause analysis (RCA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience with scripting for automation testing.
• Exposure to Oracle Finance applications is a plus.
• Experience in high-pressure, fast-paced delivery environments.

Work Mode:

Onsite – Gurgaon

Shift / Hours:

General shift; may require occasional overtime/weekend work based on project demands

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹3,900,000.00 per year
