Join MSBC as a QA Automation Engineer (Python) – Ensuring Quality Through Intelligent Automation We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing. In this role, you will be at the forefront of software quality assurance, building and executing robust test frameworks that ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across our product suite. Key Responsibilities Automation Testing Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Python , Cucumber , and pytest . Design and implement scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks. Manual Testing Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects. Collaborate with developers to replicate and resolve issues effectively. Test Strategy & Execution Create comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on business and technical requirements. Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with cross-functional teams including development and product management. Communicate test results, bugs, and project progress to QA leads and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement Recommend and implement improvements in testing processes and tools. Stay current with emerging test automation trends and technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in both manual and automation testing within dynamic development environments. Strong command of Python , Cucumber , and pytest for test automation. Familiarity with Robot Framework is a plus. Proficient with version control systems such as Git. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter . Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (e.g., Docker). In-depth understanding of QA methodologies , SDLC , and defect management . Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development settings. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Strong communication abilities , both verbal and written. Collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork in a fast-paced environment . Note: Shift timings align with UK working hours. This role is based in Ahmedabad, but candidates from other cities or states are encouraged to apply as remote or hybrid working options are available.
