Quality Analyst

• Monitoring and Reviewing Processes: Observing how work is performed, auditing documents or claims, or monitoring customer interactions (calls, chats, emails) to ensure adherence to company guidelines and policies.
• Conducting Tests and Audits: Designing and executing detailed test plans and test cases (manual or automated) to validate functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
• Identifying and Documenting Errors: Meticulously identifying bugs, defects, or inconsistencies and logging them in tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) with clear, detailed information to help teams understand the issues.
• Analyzing and Reporting Findings: Compiling and analyzing data and statistics from tests and audits to identify trends, pinpoint recurring issues, and create reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with developers, product managers, operations, and compliance officers to resolve quality issues, provide feedback, and align quality goals with business objectives.
• Ensuring Compliance: Verifying that products and processes meet industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare, ISO 9001, GDPR). Driving Continuous Improvement:
• Recommending and implementing changes to existing quality control procedures and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and product quality.
• Essential Skills and Qualifications A successful Quality Analyst typically possesses a blend of technical and soft skills:
• Hard Skills and Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, or industry-specific area).
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Selenium, TestRail, SQL). Knowledge of testing types (e.g., manual, automated, regression, performance).
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or other relevant process frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Six Sigma are often preferred.
