SEI has a challenging career opportunity for a Quality Assurance Lead. You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. The candidate should be a strong ‘utility’ type analyst with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnel.
What you will do:
Drive and Coordinate the QA team’s workload for proprietary and 3rd party applications
Work across teams, and business units, to coordinate and execute test plans
Develop and manage test strategies that will include test data population, regression testing, and integration testing using both manual and automation test beds to ensure a higher quality deliverable
Promote QA standards and best practices across our agile teams
Ensure regression tests are run in a traceable manner and that the team follows the SDLC policy
Work in a fast paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes
Perform high level impact analysis and execute complex test approaches for production and maintenance level software changes
Involved in life cycle of Data Migration process starting from requirement gathering, data analysis, data mapping and reconciliation.
Work with Scrum teams to complete root because analysis and corrective action plans to ensure test coverage throughout the development, QA, and UAT life cycles
Provide continuous reviews and recommendations for improvement of processes related to Quality Assurance
Advise and assist the QA Manager on testing risks and resolutions as they relate to the Integration team’s efforts
What we need from you:
A minimum of 8 years working as a professional in a software development environment
Knowledge of integration testing approaches and techniques between complex systems, both proprietary and third party
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or relevant work experience
A minimum of 4 years of experience using API and UI Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, Serenity, TestComplete, ReadyAPI, Postman and TestNG
A minimum of 3 years reviewing and analyzing logs using such tools as ELK, Splunk, Kibana, New Relic or Dynatrace
A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing projects
Working knowledge of sensitive data quality assurance including security related test cases, permission boundary testing, and report validation
Experience on monitoring Splunk and Azure application insight logs.
Experience in validating mobile web applications on Android and IPhone devices.
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience in investment processing is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Quality Center, or Rally
Demonstrated knowledge of databases and APIs
Proven experience and understanding of all phases of the development lifecycle including scoping, design, construction, integration and testing preferred
