·       Source and procure APIs, excipients, and raw materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing
·       Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and timely supply
·       Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement
·       Coordinate with QA/QC, production, and planning teams to align procurement with operational needs
·       Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and ensure optimal stock availability
·       Maintain accurate purchase records and support audits or regulatory inspections
·       Stay updated with market trends, pricing dynamics, and alternative suppliers
·       Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and documentation standards
·       5â8 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement (formulations/API/excipients)
·       Strong knowledge of pharma supply chain, vendor evaluation, and purchase order systems
·       Good negotiation and analytical skills
·       Familiarity with GMP/GLP standards and regulatory documentation
·       Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and inventory tools
·       Graduate in Science/Pharma; MBA (preferred)
