Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and manage suppliers for controllers, panels, mechanical valves, and refrigeration hardware.
Execute strategic sourcing to secure competitive pricing, quality compliance, and timely delivery.
Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to finalize technical specifications.
Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to avoid downtime or shortages.
Conduct vendor audits and maintain performance scorecards.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, industry norms, and internal procurement policies.
Track market trends, lead times, and cost fluctuations for critical components.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, cost control, and vendor relationships.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
5- 8 years of procurement experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or similar manufacturing environments.
Strong technical understanding of controllers, electrical panels, and mechanical valves.
Proven negotiation and contract-management skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent).
Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
