Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the refrigeration manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control panels that power and control our refrigeration systems. This role demands a strong understanding of electrical schematics, component selection, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop LT panels, control panels, and VFD panels for refrigeration systems and associated equipment. Create and update General Arrangement (GA) drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BoM) using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Ensure all designs comply with IEC, UL, and CE standards as well as customer specifications. Select and size electrical components including MCCBs, contactors, relays, PLCs, and VFDs. Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure seamless system integration and assembly. Provide support for design validation, testing, and troubleshooting of design-related issues. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all designs and support the panel fabrication process. Required Skills and Qualifications: Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical panel design, preferably within the refrigeration or HVAC industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN software. Strong understanding of refrigeration system control logic (experience with compressors, evaporators, etc., is a plus). Knowledge of international electrical standards including IEC, UL, and CE. Capable of sizing cables, circuit breakers, and protection devices accurately. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
