Job Title: Purchase Manager - Inverter

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Planning – Develop and implement purchase plans in coordination with production schedules.
• Vendor Management – Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Negotiations & Cost Control – Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve savings without compromising quality.
• Purchase Operations – Oversee purchase requisitions, PO generation, and order tracking to ensure smooth supply flow.
• Inventory Coordination – Work with Stores and Production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Compliance & Documentation – Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and maintain accurate documentation.
• Team Leadership – Lead and guide purchase executives and assistants to achieve departmental objectives.
• Market Research – Track industry trends, raw material prices, and supplier performance for better sourcing strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinate with Production, Quality, SCM, and Finance teams to support smooth operations.
• Reporting – Prepare MIS reports on procurement status, savings, and vendor performance for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5-7 years of procurement experience
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/SAP procurement.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage high-value contracts.
• Ability to work under pressure and ensure timely procurement for critical operations.
