JOB TITLE - Store Assistant

LOCATION - Waghodia GIDC, Vadodara

JOB OVERVIEW
The Store Assistant will support day-to-day store functions including receiving, issuing, and maintaining records of materials. The role ensures timely availability of materials to different departments, proper documentation, and upkeep of stores as per company policies and SOPs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Material Handling – Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking of materials in designated areas.
• Issuance of Materials – Support issuance of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts to departments as per requisitions.
• Stock Records – Maintain entries in registers/ERP under guidance of Store Executive.
• Physical Verification – Assist in daily/weekly stock counts and reconciliation.
• FIFO / FEFO Compliance – Ensure proper storage and issue of materials on First In–First Out basis.
• Documentation – Support preparation of GRNs, issue slips, and return notes.
• Housekeeping & Safety – Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and safe storage in the store area.
• Coordination – Liaise with purchase, production, and quality teams for smooth material flow.
• Audit Support – Provide assistance during stock audits and physical verification.
• Team Support – Assist Store Executive and seniors in daily reporting and store management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 12th pass / Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in store/warehouse operations (freshers may apply).
• Basic knowledge of storekeeping practices and documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP/Excel is preferred.
• Physically fit, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Good teamwork and coordination skills.
