Job Summary: Dream Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Manager to manage procurement operations for construction materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, site supervisors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project needs. A strong understanding of building materials, vendor negotiations, and inventory management is essential for this role. Experience: Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the real estate or construction industry (Required) Key Responsibilities: Liaise with engineers, site supervisors, and project managers to determine material needs and ensure timely procurement. Float tenders, conduct vendor/contractor meetings, and finalize procurement contracts. Issue purchase orders for construction materials, tools, and equipment aligned with real estate project timelines. Monitor and manage inventory levels to support current and upcoming project requirements. Maintain a strong database of vendors, contractors, and subcontractors; obtain and evaluate competitive quotations. Prepare and float RFQs (Request for Quotation) for various construction materials. Lead negotiations to secure best pricing and quality from vendors. Ensure adherence to all local building codes, safety regulations, and internal compliance guidelines. Generate and analyze ERP-based reports to monitor inventory, expenses, and procurement KPIs. Prepare MIS reports and coordinate inward/outward logistics. Optimize inventory levels to support cost savings while ensuring uninterrupted operations. Contribute to procurement strategy formulation for residential real estate interiors and civil works. Stay updated on new materials, vendor sources, and procurement best practices in the real estate sector. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Strong knowledge of construction/building materials, sourcing strategies, and vendor development Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Excel-based reporting tools Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills Ability to handle multi-site procurement and tight project timelines Knowledge of interior procurement for residential apartment projects is a plus Application Instructions: Please share your updated resume at hr@dreamrealtors.co.in .
