DAMS is seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities across all DAMS Centres. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete purchasing cycle – from requirement identification, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, procurement, logistics, delivery, to on-ground implementation. Preference will be given to Ex-Army Personnel , bringing discipline, operational efficiency, and integrity to the role. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the centralized purchasing operations for all DAMS Centres across India. Identify procurement needs by coordinating with Centre Heads and internal stakeholders. Source reliable vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all materials, equipment, and services. Monitor and track order status to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Coordinate logistics and transportation for delivery to various DAMS Centres. Supervise the implementation and installation of procured items when required. Maintain vendor database, purchase records, and documentation. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Requirements: Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in education, healthcare, or service sectors. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Good knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and market research. Familiarity with ERP/purchase order systems is a plus. Must be able to handle multi-location procurement demands independently. Ability to travel to DAMS Centres across India as needed. Preference will be given to Ex-Army Personnel , with experience in logistics, operations, or procurement.
