Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager, your role involves sourcing and procuring raw materials, packaging, and other necessary goods for FMCG production and distribution processes. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with company goals to maintain adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production and distribution. - Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials at competitive prices and maintaining strong vendor relationships. - Continuously analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and collaborating with warehouse and inventory teams to manage procurement schedules effectively. - Working closely with QA/QC teams to ensure all purchased goods meet company standards and regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory. - Streamlining procurement processes by liaising with production, logistics, and finance departments and assessing risks related to supply disruptions to develop contingency plans. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Proven experience in procurement within the FMCG sector and strong negotiation and communication skills. - Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. - Understanding of FMCG production processes and market dynamics.
