Job Brief

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services required for production. This role is essential to ensure timely material availability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.

2. Create and process purchase orders for materials, components, tools, and outsourced services.

3. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve delays or discrepancies.

4. Negotiate rates, terms, and payment conditions to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.

5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and material specifications.

6. Coordinate with production, quality, and stores departments to plan and fulfill material requirements.

7. Monitor inventory levels and arrange replenishment to avoid shortages.

8. Assess and review supplier performance regularly.

9. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.

10. Handle urgent procurement requirements and track critical materials closely.

11. Support vendor development and assist in onboarding new suppliers.

12. Prepare reports related to purchase costs, material usage, and procurement planning.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or any related field.

· 0–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

· Basic understanding of manufacturing materials and processes.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to multitask and manage deadlines efficiently.

· Good coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
