Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring products, packaging materials, and vendor services required for corporate gifting operations. The role involves vendor management, cost optimization, quality assurance, and timely procurement to ensure smooth order execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and develop vendors for corporate gifts, promotional items, and packaging materials.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.
• Coordinate with design, sales, and operations teams to understand product and branding requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods as per project deadlines.
• Maintain records of supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies when necessary.
• Ensure quality standards and branding specifications are met before dispatch.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for better pricing and reliability.
• Track shipments, handle logistics coordination, and resolve supply issues.
• Support cost control initiatives and assist in budget planning.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Vendor management and sourcing expertise.
• Knowledge of gifting products, printing, packaging, and customization processes.
• MS Excel, ERP, or procurement software proficiency.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably B.Com / BBA / Supply Chain Management).
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in corporate gifting, merchandising, or promotional items industry.
• Knowledge of local vendor markets and material costing preferred.

• On-time procurement & delivery rate.
• Cost savings achieved through negotiations.
• Vendor satisfaction and reliability index.
• Reduction in procurement lead time.
