Key Responsibilities· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers. · Coordinate between suppliers, manufacturers, internal departments, and customers. · Monitor and manage stock levels regularly. · Negotiate contracts and ensure quality service from vendors. · Process payments and invoices on time. · Develop and implement an effective purchasing strategy. · Maintain contract files for future reference. · Forecast price trends and assess their impact on operations. · Prepare reports and statistical data using relevant software. · Ensure suppliers are aligned with company objectives. · Plan and strategize for sourcing, capacity, and supply network. · Conduct raw material/packaging material supply planning. · Manage production planning and scheduling for plant locations. · Coordinate execution of supply plans across procurement, packaging, logistics, and production. · Evaluate vendor capabilities via site visits and performance tracking. · Monitor vendor performance for timely, cost-effective delivery. · Implement tools for improved tracking, reporting, and inventory management.
