Job Title: Maintenance ManagerLocation: BangaloreDepartment: Operations / Maintenance Role Summary: The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role includes planning, budgeting, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and leading the maintenance team—specifically for production machinery and packaging lines. Key Responsibilities: · You will be responsible for all maintenance activities of the following Business Units: § Meisterwurst India Pvt Ltd § Bon Appetit Food Chain Pvt. Ltd § Arthur’s Food Company Pvt Ltd § Veganya Food Private Ltd § Borner § Any other new entities that come up in future. · Managing the operation & maintenance of Lighting & distribution, Diesel Generators, Electrical distribution panels, UPS, Air Compressors, access control system, CCTV, Fire safety systems, building repairs etc., · Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues · Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities · Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.) · Manage relationships with contractors and service providers · Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities · Ensure health and safety policies are complied with · Interface with Gas Utility & Electricity Utility agencies · HVAC systems’ compliance with respect to cold chain management · Vendor Agreements review, renewals from time to time & working closely with purchase team for release of PO’s release · Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the Facilities domain and maintaining a high level of internal customer satisfaction · Adherence to the approved budget with primary responsibility for the monthly facilities management report, including an overall summary of operations · Monitoring and inspection of buildings and premises for safety issues, promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and good environmental practices. · Ensure all communications are completed with regards to queries, escalations, request, and complaints and demonstrate the employee-oriented practices · Effective utilization and review of sub-contractors / vendor's performance monthly or periodic intervals. · Supporting waste management & allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency. · Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency. Experience in production & packaging machinery, utilities (boilers, compressors, DG, HVAC, water systems). Knowledge of ISO / GMP systems is required. Skills Required Strong technical troubleshooting abilities (FMCG machinery). Leadership, people management & decision-making skills. Good communication, vendor handling & analytical skills. Work Environment On-site factory-based role. Must be available for breakdowns/emergency support beyond work hours.
