Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify reliable suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with suppliers.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and pricing.
  • Maintain procurement records, documentation, and reports.
  • Follow the companys procurement policies and compliance guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as production, finance, logistics, and quality to support smooth operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain concepts.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
