Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for our manufacturing and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, technical knowledge of mechanical components, and experience in vendor management to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors.

Maintain and update records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.

Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and plan procurement strategies.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.

Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, or cost.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize purchasing processes and reduce procurement costs.

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels and streamline distribution schedules.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of mechanical components and materials.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Vendor management and cost optimization experience.
