Purchase Engineer

POSITION: PURCHASE & STORE EXECUTIVE

JOB LOCATION: Ashram Road, Ahmedabad

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Purchase & Store Executive whose main role will be procurement oi material, bill passing by verifying invoices with purchase orders and GRNs. The candidate should also have basic knowledge of store operations like GRN preparation, stock handling, and material movement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for procurement of all the essential General Purchase related to store and its inventory, like office items, stationery, lab equipment & chemicals, including AMC & ARC and other general items.
• Responsible for procurement of plant machine maintenance parts and equipment like pumps, motors, valves, rotary shafts, non-electrical & electrical items and other utility items.
• Responsible for procurement of Project purchase which includes machines, structural items & civil items.
• Responsible for floating enquiries to the vendors and getting quotes from the vendors. Making comparative statement based on quotes received.
• Getting approvals from management for L1 vendor.
• Follow-up with the vendors for timely delivery of material.
• Techno-commercial negotiation with the supplier for ordered material.
• To ensure that material is purchased as per requirements, drawings and technical specifications provided by the department.
• Responsible for PO making and verification. Communicate with vendors for any clarification related to bills and deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: DME / BE / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of experience in Purchase & Stores operation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
