Job Title: Proposal Specialist (GSS) Additional Job Information Job Level (Job Title): Proposal Specialist Full Time/Part-time (weekly hours): Full-Time Functional Area: Marketing Department: Marketing Location(s): India Organizational Structure Describe direct and indirect reporting relationships, above and below this position Reports to GSS Marketing Manager with a dotted line to Proposal Lead. This position has no direct reports. Job Summary/Purpose This position works to develop proposal drafts for select industry and service line proposals. Working cross-departmentally with the Proposal Strategists and occasionally with Business Development and Knowledge teams, executing on multiple proposals at once. Pulls together initial draft responses from available information as required by formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and proposal outlines developed by pursuit teams. Working with the Proposal team to gather any past responses for the same or similar opportunity. In addition, conduct some research as required or coordination of research through Knowledge team. This position will also help maintain content within the proposal system to ensure the latest and best material is available. In addition, help create reporting across proposal activity, win/loss rates and other metrics. This position requires organization and time management skills. Description Develop proposal products and coordinate drafting process (includes adhering to proposal process, maintaining quality control checks, working across the organization to assimilate information, and adhering to tight deadlines) - 60% Continually update best practice and standard content in proposal system, practice descriptions, bios, service approaches, references and other content - 30% Assist with simple research requests as needed - 5% Assist in effectively tracking proposals and other reporting requirements - 5% Competencies Analytic and research skills Detail and deadline oriented Skills & Abilities A good knowledge of RFP and proposal process Writing skills Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or other related applications.
