Role Overview

Project Head

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering & fabrication projects simultaneously.
• Review drawings, BOM, and technical requirements with design team.
• Generate project execution plans with timeline, cost & resource mapping.
• Monitor manufacturing, machining, fabrication, coating & assembly activities.
• Ensure daily tracking, risk identification & mitigation planning.
• Coordinate with procurement for bought-out items and raw material arrangements.
• Ensure quality checkpoints as per customer drawings/specifications.
• Handle internal and customer meetings, progress reviews & documentation.
• Ensure on-time delivery with zero compromise on quality.
• Implement Lean, 5S & continuous process improvement.
• Maintain project reports, schedules, MOM and delivery dashboards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum

  7–15 years of solid experience

  in fabrication / machining / automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, GD&T, welding, machining, assemblies.
• Ability to lead plant execution and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling (MS Excel/Project), costing & documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication & analytical skills.
• Experience in Defence, Aerospace or OEM (preferred but not mandatory).

Education

• B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Post Graduate qualifications will be added advantage.

Location

• Pune (Jejuri area) / Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
