Rochem Separation Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead our Project Department within the industrial wastewater and blackish water treatment sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end execution of projects, from planning and budgeting through to delivery. The role will require a strong background in project management, with a deep understanding of wastewater treatment systems, compliance, and engineering practices. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Experience: 2 to 5 yrs


Technical skills:

  • Knowledge of MSOffice
  • Knowledge of Drawing Software
  • SolidWorks/AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of technical terms


Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support and Installation:

Provide expert technical support during the installation, commissioning, and operation of industrial wastewater and blackish water treatment systems.

Lead the installation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to wastewater treatment equipment and technologies.

Oversee the integration of various treatment processes and ensure they are working efficiently and in compliance with technical specifications.

Troubleshoot any issues encountered during installation and commissioning, working with the project team to resolve problems promptly.

2. System Maintenance and Optimization:

Provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the efficient operation of water treatment systems after installation.

Monitor the performance of treatment plants and systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.

Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to prevent operational disruptions and ensure long-term reliability.

Recommend modifications and improvements to enhance system performance or to address any operational issues.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that all work, including installations and maintenance, complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Conduct quality checks and site inspections to ensure that work is completed according to the approved specifications and project plans.

Support the quality assurance team by providing technical feedback and assisting in the development of quality control procedures.

Ensure all necessary documentation related to service activities, including maintenance logs and service reports, is accurately completed and maintained.

4. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in wastewater and blackish water treatment systems.

Identify root causes of operational or technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.

Assist in resolving complex technical problems related to system components, such as pumps, valves, filtration systems, and control systems.

5. Client Support and Communication:

Serve as the primary technical contact for clients during the commissioning phase and ongoing service support.

Provide clients with operational guidance and training on the use and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, provide technical solutions, and ensure their satisfaction.

Prepare and present technical reports and service summaries to clients and internal teams.

6. Project Coordination and Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Assist in the planning and coordination of project timelines, resources, and manpower to meet project objectives.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure that project specifications align with client requirements and operational goals.

Provide input into the design and optimization of water treatment systems based on operational feedback and field experience.

7. Training and Development:

Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers, technicians, and project staff on best practices for system installation, operation, and maintenance.

Assist in the development of training materials and technical documentation to support staff development and client education.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed service records, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and equipment performance data.

Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for clients, outlining the service performed, system performance, and recommendations for improvements or upgrades.

Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.


9. Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with the latest developments in water treatment technologies, techniques, and regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities for improving service delivery, system performance, and customer satisfaction.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes and documentation.
