Project Engineer

Planning & Coordination Review architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings for accuracy and feasibility. Break down master plans into phased execution schedules covering villas, clubhouse, infrastructure, and community farming. Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and execution packages. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve design or technical issues. Plan logistics of manpower and materials considering site conditions. Procurement & Vendor Management Identify and evaluate subcontractors and vendors for civil, MEP, finishing, landscaping, and amenities. Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, and quality certifications. Ensure timely supply and delivery of approved materials within budget. Track vendor performance, safety compliance, and contractual adherence. Site Execution Supervise and manage construction of villas, clubhouse, infrastructure, and common amenities. Oversee farmland preparation, irrigation, and plantation activities. Coordinate multidisciplinary works including civil, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, interiors, and landscaping. Monitor daily productivity, adherence to schedule, and quality standards. Address site challenges and implement corrective measures promptly. Quality Assurance & Safety Conduct quality checks across civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works. Maintain inspection records, test reports, and snag lists. Ensure adherence to IS codes, local by-laws, and project specifications. Promote a strong site safety culture, ensuring PPE compliance and safety audits. Cost & Budget Control Track costs against BOQs and budgets, ensuring control on wastage. Verify subcontractor bills and raise alerts on cost deviations. Support value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without quality compromise. Amenities & Infrastructure Delivery Manage development of internal roads, drainage, water, sewage, electrical, and lighting networks. Oversee completion of clubhouse interiors, wellness and recreational spaces, and community amenities. Coordinate landscaping, thematic gardens, and native plantation zones. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site diaries, progress reports, and photographic documentation. Submit regular updates to management on progress, delays, and risks. Maintain accurate documentation for approvals, revisions, and correspondence. Prepare monthly MIS reports on cost, schedule, and quality. Commissioning & Handover Oversee testing and commissioning of all MEP and utility systems. Ensure as-built drawings and O&M manuals are prepared for handover. Complete snagging and de-snagging before client handover.
