PROJECT CO-ORDINATING MANAGER

Overview


The ideal candidate should possess good knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Should be able to effectively handle multiple projects, coordinate with employees and forward consolidated work progress reports to the management. Should ideally have overseen turnkey projects to qualify for this post. Defence Service Background is desirable.

Responsibilities

·        Handle multiple projects and keep track of Individual deadlines

  • The capability of evaluating every Individual employee and counseling them when required to ensure a balanced and peaceful work environment
  • Successfully able to monitor and enforce all compliance related to the company policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and tracking all cases on a daily basis from the inception of order all the way to receiving payments in company account
  • Capable of independently reviewing and drafting professional emails, responses for all correspondences received from the clients
  • Overseeing all scheduling, financial reporting, technical and plan approval including build supervision; and the management of a multi-disciplined team of employees and subcontractors
  •  Review and approve structural design drawings, analyze weight calculations, structural stress, strength requirement, stability (Intact & Damage) calculation for the design.
  • Responsible for reviewing purchase specifications and vendor proposals, monitoring design progress, and reporting to top management the exact scenario of progress.
  • Successfully lead the project team and chair regular meetings with sub-contractors, yard and clients to review progress, discuss problems/risk management issues.
  • Conduct inspection of installation and commissioning of machinery equipment, piping installation, electrical installations right from beginning of fabrication until completion of project.
  • To find incorrect executions and deviations from design as described in the specifications, solve any disputes arising from design flaw, faulty inspection procedure, production barriers or untimely schedule challenges
  • Assisting the site team from block stage through to launch, system commissioning, trials & acceptance
  • To implement project Quality Assurance (QA), Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) policies and procedures and verifying results.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Having excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Posses the ability to deal tactfully and curtsey way with higher authorities in any situation
  • Capable of working independently and also a part of a team
  • Knowledge of different strength analysis software such as CATIA, ANSYS Structure Mechanics Module, FEM analysis etc., is desirable
  • Should be well versed with MS Office and relevant computer skills

Qualification

  • Min. Qualification -  B Tech/ M Tech
  • Having Technical and Administrative work experience of at least 8 to 15 years in Office & Site.

Ex-Defence / Navy Personnel will be accorded preference
