As a Scrum Master at NielsenIQ, you will be responsible for helping our product and technology teams drive product development adopting standard and consistent SAFe Agile practices ensuring high quality. You will coordinate efforts across functional, technical and process teams and work cross-functionally to solve client problems. Your teams may cut across time zones, datasets and technologies and it will be your responsibility to keep track of all the moving parts, bring people together across multiple teams and communicate with various stakeholders, including senior management. Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality productsGets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniquesResponsible for ensuring Scrum is understood, and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelinesResolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organizationWorks with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the roleContributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organizationFacilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint RetrospectiveDrives continuous improvements through metricsEscalates issues in a timely and appropriate mannerWorks closely with Product Leadership, Technology & Operations teams on product development roadmaps and timelines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment with 4+ years of Scrum Master experienceExcellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsDeep understanding of agile frameworks - Scrum, Kanban, SAFE etcHas deep understanding of software development life cycleAdept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniquesPlanning and problem-solving with the product owner and delivery teamsDemonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniquesHands on experience in Jira and other ADLM toolsPreferred to have SAFe certifications ( either of SSM, SASM, RTE , SA etc ) Additional Information Our Benefits Flexible working environmentVolunteer time offLinkedIn LearningEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP) About NIQ NIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
