Job Description

We are seeking a Production Planning Executive to work in our manufacturing team. The role will play a critical part in coordinating production schedules, managing material requirements, and ensuring seamless alignment between various departments to meet timely delivery. Responsibilities: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Quality, and Production teams to ensure availability of materials and resources. Monitor actual production vs. planned targets and update schedules as needed to meet customer deadlines. Manage inventory levels and ensure optimum stock of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Prepare reports on production status, material shortages, and capacity utilization. Identify and mitigate potential delays in production due to material or manpower constraints. Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure that quality standards are met across production batches. Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate and track work orders and production schedules. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or equivalent. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment (preferably in electronics, automotive, aerospace, or related industries). Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Good understanding of inventory management, BOM, and capacity planning. Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Experience in drone/aerospace/automotive or similar high-tech manufacturing industries. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles. Show more Show less
