Job Description

Job Profile: To manage the financial operations of the organization, including finalization of books, statutory compliance, banking, and taxation. The role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, efficient handling of day-to-day transactions, and compliance with audit and GST requirements, with a specific focus on working in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Finalization Responsible for finalization of books of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and internal policies. Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits Day-to-Day Financial Operations Oversee daily accounting activities including payables, receivables, and general ledger entries . Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations and transaction entries . Handle banking activities including fund transfers, LC/BG documentation, and relationship management with banks. Taxation & GST Manage direct and indirect tax compliance , including GST return checking and filing . Coordinate with tax consultants and ensure timely payment of taxes. Assist in preparation and submission of necessary returns and documentation to authorities. MIS & Financial Analysis Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports , variance analysis, and cash flow projections. Support in budget preparation, cost control measures, and financial forecasting. Import & Export Documentation Handle import documentation , ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and other external stakeholders for smooth import-related processes. Required Skills: 7–8 years in a manufacturing company Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and audit processes . Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally / ERP systems , and GST portals. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a time-bound environment. Good analytical skills , attention to detail, and organizational ability. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance Show more Show less
