Job Description

Production Planner

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in coordination with sales forecasts and inventory levels.
Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available by coordinating with the procurement and warehouse teams.
Issue and track production orders through the ERP system (preferably Odoo) to ensure timely manufacturing.
Monitor ongoing production progress and adjust schedules in response to delays, machine breakdowns, or material shortages.
Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to align production with compliance and dispatch timelines.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, material consumption, downtime, and WIP.
Analyze production efficiency and propose improvements to reduce waste, increase productivity, and optimize capacity utilization.
Prepare and share production MIS reports with senior management on a daily and weekly basis.
Ensure all planning activities are in compliance with internal SOPs, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Planner in an FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using ERP systems (preferably Odoo) and MS Excel for planning and reporting.
Sound knowledge of production planning principles, inventory control, and manufacturing workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent coordination and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic manufacturing setup.
