Job Description

As the QA/QC Manager, your responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure product quality and safety. You will establish and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) in accordance with industry regulations and best practices. Regular audits and inspections will be conducted to monitor and evaluate product quality at every stage of the production process. Identifying areas for improvement and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency will be crucial. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) is also a key aspect of the role. In terms of quality control, you will supervise and manage the QC team, providing guidance and training to ensure accurate and consistent product inspections. Overseeing the testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and standards will be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining accurate records of QC tests and inspections, and reporting any deviations or non-conformities to senior management is essential. Implementing statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and control production processes for quality optimization will be crucial. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and customer specifications is also a vital component of the role. Regarding compliance and documentation, staying up-to-date with industry regulations and standards, making necessary adjustments to QA/QC processes as needed, preparing and maintaining documentation related to quality control procedures, test results, and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with regulatory agencies, customers, and third-party auditors during inspections and audits are all part of the job requirements. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related disciplines) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the FMCG or packaging industry. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP), strong leadership and supervisory skills, proficiency in quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and quality management systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and familiarity with industry-specific tools and software for quality management and data analysis are essential qualifications.,
