About the Role The Operations Manager for a diamond jewellery manufacturing company is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process of diamond jewellery from raw materials to finished products. This role ensures that all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and according to company standards, while managing resources, leading teams, and maintaining high-quality standards. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, minimizing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of finished products. Responsibilities Production Management: Oversee and manage the Production schedules, entire jewellery production process (Includes casting to finishing with quality standards), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products. Quality Control & Assurance: Supervise production outputs in a timely manner to ensure they meet company standards for quality, appearance, and craftsmanship. Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Manage raw material procurement, inventory, and supplies to ensure production continuity. Team Leadership & Staff Management: Lead, train, and motivate production Departments and other teams (Including sales, designing team etc.), ensuring they adhere to safety standards, company policies, and quality procedures. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Customer Relationship & Order Management: Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Reporting & Documentation: Generate regular and comprehensive reports on production metrics, inventory levels, and financial performance. Qualifications Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration or related field. Additional certifications in jewellery manufacturing, quality management, or operations are a plus. Experience: Proven experience (Min. 4-6 years) of Jewellery manufacturing processes and techniques is Must. Required Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
