Production Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations of HVAC air distribution products. The ideal candidate will lead the production team and have 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong background in sheet metal fabrication. The Production Manager will be responsible for daily production planning, implementing 5S and lean manufacturing principles, manage resources efficiently, uphold quality standards, conducting root cause analysis, providing data-driven reporting to optimize production processes and meet daily output targets.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plans to meet quality and efficiency targets
• Maintain 5S and lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations
• Oversee sheet metal fabrication processes and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Manage inventory control to minimize waste and optimize material usage
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address production issues
• Provide data-driven reporting to track key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Plan and execute daily production schedules based on sales and dispatch priorities.
• Oversee sheet metal fabrication processes – cutting, bending, punching, welding, powder coating, and assembly.
• Ensure quality control at every stage with adherence to HVAC product standards and tolerances.
• Optimize manpower deployment across shifts and workstations.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
• Monitor machine uptime and coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly production reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, sales, and dispatch teams for seamless workflow.
• Enforce shop floor safety, discipline, and cleanliness.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing
• Proven expertise in sheet metal fabrication
• Strong knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in inventory control and optimization
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Experience in providing data-driven reporting to support production optimization
• Proficient in production planning, manpower management, and output tracking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
