About the Role:

Production Manager

plan, execute, and monitor production

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Management

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in coordination with design and procurement teams.
• Plan machine loading and manpower allocation to achieve timely project completion.
• Oversee and optimize production flow from cutting to finishing to dispatch.
• Ensure accurate job card creation, sequencing, and tracking.

2. Technical & Process Expertise

• Work with advanced machinery such as

  beam saws, edge banders, CNC machines, four-side moulders, press machines, and spray booths

  .
• Supervise and approve

  drilling patterns, cutting plans, and production drawings

  .
• Ensure adherence to

  standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  and implement lean manufacturing practices.

3. Material & Resource Management

• Review and verify

  material consumption

  based on BOQs and drawings.
• Coordinate with store and procurement teams for

  material planning, usage, and wastage control

  .
• Track and minimize rework and rejects.

4. Quality Control & Design Coordination

• Perform

  in-process and final quality checks

  to ensure dimensional accuracy, joinery fitment, and finish quality.
• Work closely with design and technical teams to resolve production challenges.
• Standardize quality checkpoints for each stage — cutting, assembly, polishing, and packing.

5. Team Leadership & Training

• Lead and mentor supervisors, machine operators, and quality checkers.
• Ensure discipline, skill development, and adherence to safety protocols on the shop floor.
• Build strong inter-departmental coordination with design, purchase, and dispatch teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years

  of experience in

  wooden modular furniture production

  , preferably in

  luxury or high-end projects

  .
• Strong understanding of

  veneering, PU finishing, laminates, and acrylic work

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Homag, Biesse, SCM, or similar machinery lines

  .
• Proven ability to

  interpret production drawings and make technical corrections

  .
• Knowledge of

  material yield calculations and machining parameters

  .
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with

  ERP or production tracking software

  preferred.
