Role Overview

The Production Manager – Bottling will be responsible for managing end-to-end bottling operations, ensuring production targets are consistently met while maintaining quality, safety, and statutory compliance. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in beverage manufacturing with strong people and floor management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily bottling operations to achieve defined production targets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, manage, and supervise line supervisors, operators, and shop-floor labor to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Ensure effective manpower planning and deployment across bottling lines to meet daily and monthly output requirements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards applicable to liquor and beverage manufacturing.
  • Monitor bottling line performance, machine utilization, and downtime, and take corrective actions to avoid production losses.
  • Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables to avoid line stoppages.
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Drive discipline, accountability, and productivity across production teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in beverage production

    , preferably in liquor or alcohol bottling operations.
  • Proven experience in managing large production teams, supervisors, and shop-floor labor.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of bottling machinery, production planning, and compliance norms.
