Production Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Production Engineer to oversee and improve manufacturing processes, ensure smooth production flow, maintain equipment efficiency, and drive productivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing process improvements, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and quality production output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Execution
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, and machinery).
• Process Improvement
• Analyze production processes and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Apply lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure product quality standards are met.
• Investigate and resolve production issues or defects.
• Equipment Management
• Monitor machinery performance and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
• Identify equipment failures and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Team Coordination
• Coordinate with design, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Supervise operators and ensure safety and discipline on the shop floor.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily production reports, shift logs, and performance metrics.
• Document changes to process flows, materials, or equipment settings.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Knowledge of production tools, ERP systems, and quality control standards.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and team-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM is a plus.
• Experience with automation or robotics is an added advantage.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹333,442.37 - ₹1,089,916.82 per year
