Job Purpose:

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all activities in the printing and packaging production process. The role ensures that jobs are executed on time, within budget, and with the required quality standards, while acting as a communication link between clients, design, production, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily production schedules in line with customer orders and deadlines.
• Liaise with sales, design, and procurement teams to ensure raw materials and resources are available on time.
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain job sheets, work orders, and production records accurately.
• Ensure quality standards are followed at each stage of printing and packaging.
• Track wastage, downtime, and provide inputs for efficiency improvement.
• Support in vendor coordination for outsourced printing/finishing processes.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with supervisors and machine operators to ensure alignment with timelines.
• Assist the operation head for capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Prepare and circulate daily/weekly production reports to management.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of printing & packaging processes (offset, flexo, digital, laminations, die-cutting, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/production management software preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate / Diploma in Printing Technology, Packaging, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production coordination within printing & packaging industry.
• Knowledge of raw materials, inks, polymers , substrates, and finishing processes.
