Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW:


As a Demand Planning Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Demand and Forecasting product engine. You will collaborate with a talented team to define the product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and represent our forecasting capabilities both internally and externally.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Strategy: Drive the strategic direction of our forecasting capabilities, working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Product Lifecycle & Roadmap Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with development, implementation, training, sales, and support teams to ensure product success.

• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer requirements.

• Product Positioning: Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging.

• Agile Methodology: Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.


EXPERIENCE:

• Mandatory to have- Experience building or leveraging forecasting models and/or utilization of data platforms for forecasting applications.

• Experience in understanding the science behind Demand Forecasting

• Interest in learning and developing new functional and technical skills

• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology

• Working knowledge of product development architecture

• Working knowledge of data model and using SQL

• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles

• Excellent oral and written communication

• Project planning and management

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong analytical skills

• Ability to communicate well with co-workers

• Experience with Atlassian suite of products a plus

• Experience in Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Management for Distributors, Retailers and/or Manufacturers – past management of Demand Planning, Replenishment, S&OP and/or Supply Planning a plus

• Communicates ideas – strong facilitation and written communication, proposes a way forward. Listens to the views of colleagues and takes in diverse perspectives. Able to present at industry conferences and communicate product value to analysts.

SOFT SKILLS

Excellent communication, Flexible attitude and should be able to technically lead the product team which being fully hands-on.


EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5+ yrs of experience and 3+yrs of Product Management and/or Supply Chain Software Implementation experience.


EDUCATION:

Preferable having Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, industrial engineering, computer science, or similar (Masters a plus)

Full-time, Hybrid Work Mode - 3 days work from office
