About SmartWheels


SmartWheels is a new software startup backed by a large private-equity company, that specializes in developing innovative B2B/B2C SaaS software solutions focused on vehicle telematics. By leveraging data from the OBD2 port, our platform provides real-time insights into vehicle performance, driving behavior, and overall fleet health. Our B2B solution is designed to help businesses, ranging from small fleet operators to large enterprises, optimize their fleet management, reduce operational costs, and enhance safety and performance monitoring. Our B2C version of the product is designed to help families keep track of their personal vehicles around mileage, real-time location and vehicle condition.


Product Manager


Job Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle: from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to define the product vision and roadmap for features and products aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering and business teams to translate technical capabilities into customer-facing value.
  • Conduct market research and customer discovery to translate customer needs into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on data, impact, and stakeholder input.
  • Monitor KPIs, gather feedback, and iterate quickly to improve product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Track product metrics and iterate based on insights.
  • Serve as the bridge between business, technology, and customer-ensuring alignment across all teams.


Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B & B2C SaaS platforms with at least 2+ years in a Senior software delivery Role.
  • Proven track record and success in launching the SmartWheels product.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to leverage data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Develop release notes, and other documents needed to manage product baseline versions.
  • Work closely with other leads, development, and QA teams to answer questions, validate feature development, and perform internal UAT.
  • Review and approve all product development artifacts.


Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
  • Applicants with other advanced certificates in relevant areas will be preferred.
