About the Job
As the Product Manager for FreJun Teler, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our core voice infrastructure, AI pipelines, SDKs, and developer onboarding flows. You will work closely with engineering, design, DevRel, and leadership to ship features that developers love, ensure reliability at scale, and define how AI voice agents interact with humans in real time.Your job is to make it effortless for developers to:
- Start streaming audio with one line of code
- Connect any STT/TTS/LLM provider
- Build natural conversational AI agents
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize voice workflows
- Scale seamlessly across geographies
You must be highly technical, user-centric, and comfortable working at the intersection of voice, real-time infrastructure, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term product vision and roadmap for FreJun Teler’s voice-AI platform, covering real-time audio streaming, SDKs/APIs, AI pipelines (STT/TTS/LLMs), developer tools, and usage metering/billing.
- Identify new opportunities within the rapidly evolving AI voice-agent ecosystem.
- Deliver an exceptional developer experience through improved onboarding, sample apps, SDK enhancements, and clear product requirements for console features, project setup, keys, logs, and debugging tools.
- Partner with DevRel to maintain high-quality documentation, guides, and tutorials.
- Build scalable workflows for API lifecycle management, versioning, rate limits, and error handling.
- Collaborate with engineering to design robust real-time STT/TTS/LLM pipelines and set quality benchmarks for latency, audio clarity, transcription accuracy, TTS naturalness, and agent responsiveness.
- Drive improvements in interruption handling, multi-turn conversation logic, and overall voice-agent reliability.
- Create detailed PRDs, technical specs, and acceptance criteria while guiding sprint planning and ensuring reliable, timely delivery.
- Validate new features through user testing, developer feedback, and continuous iteration.
- Define and monitor key product metrics such as session success rate, streaming minutes, developer activation, API error patterns, and cost-usage optimization.
- Leverage analytics for prioritization and continuous product improvement.
- Lead cross-functionally with engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, and AI/ML teams to test new model combinations and enhance product performance.
- Support GTM efforts with launch materials, feature positioning, and demos, while collaborating with Customer Success to reduce developer friction and improve adoption.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–7 years of Product Management experience in SaaS, AI, communications, or developer-focused platforms.
- Proven track record in building or managing API-first products, SDKs, or infrastructure platforms.
- Experience with real-time systems or voice technologies (WebRTC, SIP, RTP) is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to conversational AI, LLM applications, and STT/TTS pipelines is highly desirable.
- Strong technical understanding of real-time audio streaming, model-agnostic STT/TTS integrations, LLM orchestration and function calling, voice agent lifecycle, and developer tooling/API design.
- Ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, structured product requirements.
- Strong UX intuition for developer journeys, documentation, consoles, logs, and dashboards.
- Experience with product-led growth, self-service onboarding, trials, and usage-based billing models.
- Ability to own and optimize activation funnels, reducing developer Time To Value (TTV).
- Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Deep empathy for developers and technical users.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced startup environments with rapid build-measure-iterate cycles.
- Excellent communication skills across engineering, leadership, and go-to-market teams.
