The Supply-side Product Manager at Hoopr will take end-to-end ownership of products and tools that serve musicians, labels, and rights-holders. This role involves designing intuitive systems for onboarding, payouts, catalogue management, and partner experiences while modernizing legacy infrastructure and building scalable solutions from the ground up. The ideal candidate will combine product rigor with empathy for non-technical stakeholders, strong communication skills to bridge business and technical perspectives, and the ability to navigate the diverse and complex realities of the Indian music industry. Awareness of AI-driven applications and a willingness to apply them for metadata, rights management, and automation will be key in shaping the future of Hoopr’s supply ecosystem.

• Take full ownership of the supply-side platform, ensuring efficient, transparent, and scalable systems for musicians, labels, and rights-holders.
• Build and manage tools for onboarding, payouts, catalogue management, and partner-facing experiences.
• Design products with empathy for non-technical users, ensuring simplicity and accessibility for artists and labels who may be unfamiliar with digital platforms.
• Communicate product value effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between partner needs and tech execution.
• Navigate the diverse and often complex dynamics of the Indian music ecosystem — including family-run labels, independent artists, and varied business practices — and adapt product strategies.
• Modernise and improve existing legacy systems while also building new capabilities and workflows from scratch.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery and alignment with overall company vision.
• Apply AI-driven approaches for catalogue tagging, metadata management, rights handling, and automation to enhance partner efficiency and platform scalability.
• Deeply understand the music industry supply chain and continuously integrate those insights into product decisions.
• Drive product discovery, definition, sprint planning, prioritization, and execution in line with the roadmap. • Build products for a global audience while understanding local nuances and localizing offerings where required.
• Measure the impact of new features, iterate based on customer feedback and data, and interact closely with users (internal and external).
• Be the custodian of partner experience, with a passion for usability, engagement, and research-driven improvements.
• Document key learnings, product updates, and vision at necessary touchpoints to ensure organisational clarity and alignment.
• Passionate about solving problems and enabling musicians, labels, and rights-holders to thrive.
• 3–7 years of experience in Product Management, ideally with exposure to partner-facing platforms or B2B workflows.
• MBA from a tier-I business school preferred, but not mandatory if balanced with strong product experience. • Ability to think strategically and creatively, paired with strong execution discipline.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing short-term delivery with long-term vision.
• Empathy for non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to design simple, intuitive tools that cater to users unfamiliar with technology.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills to explain product value persuasively to diverse stakeholders, from artists to family-run labels.
• Comfort navigating the complexities and nuances of the Indian music industry, where stakeholder expectations and behaviours can be highly varied.
• Technically proficient: able to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and independently drive smaller technical initiatives.
• First-hand experience with agile methodologies and product tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, JIRA, Balsamiq, Figma).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define, track, and interpret key product metrics to inform decisions.
• Experience modernising legacy systems while building scalable new solutions from the ground up.
• Awareness of AI/ML applications in metadata tagging, rights management, automation, and partner experience.
• A team player with a bias for action, ownership, and accountability — willing to go beyond “feature delivery” and drive true ecosystem impact.
