Job Title: Product Manager – Urology

Work - Mon to Sat -9 AM to 5:30 PM


Position Summary:

The Product Manager – Urology will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of urology-related medical devices from strategic planning to execution. This role requires a deep understanding of the urology segment, competitor landscape, clinical environment, and customer needs. The incumbent will collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product positioning, development, launch, and performance in the market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap:

  • Develop and execute strategic product plans for the urology portfolio (e.g., TURP devices, stents, catheters, ureteroscopes, Holmium laser, etc.).

  • Define product roadmap based on market trends, voice of customer (VOC), and clinical needs.
  • Conduct SWOT analysis and competitive benchmarking for product portfolio decisions.
  • New Product Development & Launch:

  • Work closely with R&D and clinical teams to guide new product development.
  • Lead product launch planning including KOL engagement, training, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and promotional materials.
  • Define product claims and collaborate with regulatory teams for submissions and approvals.
  • Marketing & Business Development:

  • Design and implement marketing campaigns, CME activities, workshops, and events to build brand awareness.
  • Develop sales tools, presentations, and clinical data sheets for field use.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to drive revenue, improve product uptake, and achieve sales targets.
  • Market Intelligence:

  • Gather insights from the field regarding customer needs, product performance, and competitor activity.
  • Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in urology and endourology segments.



  • Training & Support:

  • Provide product and clinical training to internal sales teams, distributors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Address field inquiries and resolve product-related issues promptly.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in the medical device industry, Preferred from Urology or Gastro and Laparoscopic background
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, technologies, and key opinion leaders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (30–50%) domestically.
