Product Manager

Job Title: Production Head

1. Production Management:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet business objectives.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

1. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain product standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any deviations or issues.

1. Process Improvement & Innovation:

• Identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
• Introduce innovative solutions to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

1. Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Conduct training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce.
• Ensure proper workforce planning, scheduling, and motivation of employees.

1. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for raw material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for smooth operations.

1. Safety & Maintenance:

• Enforce safety standards and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with the engineering team to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently.

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum 5-7 years of experience in production management, preferably in [industry-specific] manufacturing.

• Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other production methodologies.
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and team management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in FMCG, food processing, etc.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Any other Supportive Document
