We’re Hiring | Product Manager – Lending Marketplace

IndiaMART, India’s largest online B2B marketplace, is building the next generation of embedded credit and financial services for millions of SMEs. We’re looking for a product leader to own and scale our Lending Marketplace—from core lending systems to future-ready insurance and wealth platforms.

🔍 Role Overview

As Head of Product – Lending Marketplace, you will lead end-to-end product strategy and execution for credit delivery. This is a foundational leadership role at the intersection of technology, data, credit, operations, and compliance.

🚀 What You’ll Do

Core Lending Stack

• Build and scale borrower & partner journeys: onboarding, KYC, offers, disbursal, servicing, repayment & delinquency
• Own architecture for LOS, LMS, rule engines, and internal ops tools
• Integrate with bureaus, NBFCs/Banks, GST, AAs, PAN, CKYC, DigiLocker, BBPS, etc.

Free Credit Score (Immediate Priority)

• Launch and scale a free credit score & report product
• Design credit education journeys and upsell funnels into lending & financial wellness

Insurance & Wealth (Platform Build)

• Architect embedded insurance and simplified wealth products
• Partner via APIs and ensure IRDAI/SEBI compliance by design

Decisioning, Risk & Lifecycle

• Own rules engines, scorecards, fraud layers, and lifecycle triggers
• Build scalable reminders, collections, and upsell flows

Internal Systems, Data & Governance

• Build CRMs, dashboards, monitoring, reconciliation & RBI-ready reporting
• Define data schemas with engineering & analytics

Leadership & Execution

• Work closely with Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Marketing & Business
• Own specs, releases, KPIs, and platform performance

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years in lending product roles (Fintech / NBFC / Bank)
• Proven experience building lending tech stacks at scale
• Strong understanding of APIs, backend systems, decisioning & regulations
• Ability to scale from MVP to multi-vertical platforms
• Excellent documentation, execution, and people leadership skills
