Procurement Manager

Role Overview We are seeking a Procurement Expert to manage end-to-end procurement for construction and design projects. The role requires strong vendor management, cost optimization, contract understanding, and coordination with design, project, and execution teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material and service procurement. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing Plan and execute procurement strategies for construction materials, services, equipment, and subcontracting Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors, suppliers, and contractors Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines, specifications, and budgets Cost Control & Optimization Conduct rate analysis, BOQ-based procurement, and cost benchmarking Negotiate best prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules without compromising quality Track market trends, price fluctuations, and availability of materials Vendor & Contract Management Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and suppliers Draft, review, and manage purchase orders, contracts, and work orders Ensure compliance with contractual terms, warranties, and statutory requirements Coordination & Execution Work closely with design, planning, billing, and site execution teams Ensure timely material delivery at site and resolve supply chain issues proactively Monitor material quality, specifications, and approvals as per drawings and standards Documentation & Compliance Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, comparative statements, and approvals Ensure compliance with internal processes, audits, and project documentation standards Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field 5–12 years of procurement experience in construction / infrastructure / real estate Strong understanding of construction materials, specifications, BOQs, and contracts Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines Preferred Experience Experience in design-driven or urban projects Exposure to government / PSU / large-scale infrastructure projects Familiarity with GST, statutory compliances, and vendor taxation What We Offer Opportunity to work on high-impact, design-forward projects Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance Long-term association with a growing and respected firm
