Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities at Kosher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality raw materials, negotiating with vendors, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries to support smooth production. Experience in FMCG or manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are essential.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Planning and managing purchases of all materials and consumables required for production.

Maintaining dynamic records of material stocks at the factory in ensuring on-time availability of materials.

Vendor development for supplies of all categories of materials.

Achieving cost / quality optimization across purchases.

Tactful negotiations with suppliers.

Placing purchases orders and tracking supplies.

Supply contract documentation.

Responsible for AMC, ARC & CMC

Maintaining suppliers records,

Responsible for P to P (Purchase to Payment), understanding of payment terms,

Assuring product quality through ensuring quality of the material purchases.

Vendor development for outsourcing production

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Managing supplies of outsourced production

Managing quality assurance protocols in respect of outsourced products.

Managing purchases of production machinery spares, tools and other items of maintenance.

Managing sundry purchases across departments.

Desired profile of the candidate

Graduate degree in relevant field

Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Should be fluent and effective in spoken English, Hindi and Bengali.

Should be good and clear in written communication.

At least 3 – 4 years of experience in independently carrying out the work listed above.

Should be efficient in MS excel for managing data and reporting.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards governing procurement activities.

Should be smart, keen to learn and should have the potential to work in a highly competitive work situation.

We would be keen to consider candidates with more experience and higher level of competence in undertaking the job set detailed

Office Timings:
10am to 7 pm- Monday to Saturday
